Daughters of the American Colonists

The National Society Daughters of the American Colonists is a women's volunteer service organization dedicated to patriotic, historic, and educational endeavors.  We research, record, and publish the history and deeds of the American colonists; we commemorate deeds of colonial interest; we teach and foster love of America and its institutions. DAC members are descendants of those men and women who lived in the American Colonies prior to July 4, 1776.

The Ohio Society DAC was organized in 1922, and supports the objectives of our National Society.  We encourage you to visit the National Society's website to learn more about the various activities and outreach of our organization.

Women age eighteen and older are eligible for membership providing that they can satisfactorily document their lineal descent from an ancestor who was an actual resident of America when it was under foreign government as colonies, and who rendered acceptable service prior to July 4, 1776.

Thank you for your interest in DAC; please contact us for membership information and inquiries.
